These sessions combine education with discussion and practical exercises, giving you skills that can be applied in daily life.

Process-Oriented Therapy Groups

Process groups provide a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns with others. These groups focus on:

  • Deepening self-awareness through interpersonal feedback

  • Exploring how you relate to others in real time

  • Working through emotional challenges in a collaborative and community setting

  • Gaining new perspectives by witnessing and supporting the experiences of others

Process groups are particularly effective for those looking to improve interpersonal relationships, develop emotional insight, and feel more connected to themselves and others.

DBT Skills Groups

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills Groups helps individuals manage overwhelming emotions and reduce self-destructive behaviours. DBT skills groups provide a supportive space to learn practical tools that enhance emotional balance, improve relationships, and build resilience.

DBT Skills Groups comprises of 4 individual modules:

  1. Mindfulness: to be aware of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings in the present moment.

  2. Distress Tolerance: to support you in managing intense emotions and navigating difficult situations without resorting to impulsive or self-destructive behaviours.

  3. Emotional Regulation: to enable you to manage emotions in healthy and productive ways. By reducing the intensity of emotions you can improve emotional balance and stability.

  4. Interpersonal Effectiveness: to strengthen relationships by improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and resolving conflicts. Interpersonal effectiveness helps boost self-esteem, build meaningful connections, and reduce feelings of isolation.

DBT skills groups are especially helpful for those dealing with addiction, eating disorders, personality disorders, self-harm, and relationship challenges.
